Today we are taking a trip down memory lane and reflecting back on one of our favorite events from 2010. Lauren & Erwan’s beautiful lakeside Michigan wedding was interwoven with a french influence. Sprigs of Lavender, succulents and lush greenery were incorporated throughout the design of the event resulting in a lovely, intimate celebration for this special couple. (Fun fact: The bride Lauren and Alicia played golf together in high school! Needless to say, this wedding is near and dear to our hearts!)

Last year, the ladies of Bloom Floral Design kindly hosted our team for a Valentines Day Workshop in their Studio 704 Event House. We crafted handmade rosebud garlands for our clients and paired them with delicious handmade chocolates from the amazing Kim of Bella e Dolce! It was a lovely day filled with flowers, belinnis and truly the best company – what more can you ask for?! Hope you all have a lovely week and happy (early) Valentines Day! xoxo

The stationery design process often sparks the inspiration for the aesthetic of our clients’ celebrations. Save the Dates and invitations are some of the first pieces in the design process and they truly set the tone for an event. After all, they are the first design elements guests will see in relation to your wedding day. Missi & Brian wanted to create a glamorous, boho inspired celebration for their lakeside nuptials (be sure to check out their feature on Martha Stewart Weddings!). During the stationery design process, we were inspired by geometric patterns, watercolor elements and cerulean blue, fuschia and metallic gold accents. We are excited to share a sneak peek of our stationery mood boards that helped our graphic designer extraordinaire create the gorgeous letter-pressed suite pictured above.

Winter weddings are a favorite here at ADIM, and Krista and Jed’s day was pure magic! Earlier this month Carats & Cake featured their dreamy celebration and we couldn’t be more thrilled to relive this gorgeous day. The Northern Michigan landscape covered in soft snow was a spectacular backdrop for bridal party photos and the Grand Traverse Resort was transformed with abundant candlelight, winter white hues, rich purple accents, greenery and lovely floral details. What an exciting start to 2017! From New York to Florida, we have travelled more than 5,000 miles this month to visit industry friends in the Big Apple and begin planning some spectacular destination events in Paradise! We are proposing a toast to new adventures and what is bound to be one heck of a year. Our motto for 2017 is to “Choose Joy” and celebrate the little victories. Life doesn’t have to always be about the big picture or the highlight reel, sometimes it’s the space in between that is truly spectacular and allows us to grow and achieve our dreams. So cheers to 2017…we are ready for you!
