Growing up along the shores of West Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City, Michigan, the bride’s childhood home proved to be the perfect location for Lauren and Erwan’s wedding. The relaxed beach ceremony commenced with the sweet smell of lavender in the air. While the couple toured the bay in a vintage Chris Craft, guests sipped cocktails and enjoyed aperitifs on the back lawn. The toasting of glasses, flickering of candlelight and laughter filled conversations among old and new friends filled the peaks of the tent.
The design was a mix of all things French. Various shades of green, ivory and white complimented the tailored raw linen. The layered details combined to create an aesthetic that was vintage and eclectic with a contemporary flare. Hand painted wooden signs and lavender accented place settings paired with the bride’s love of succulents creating a beautiful tablescape. As the sun set to the west, guests danced under the stars… c’est la vie!
