On an idyllic summer day, Jen and Chris’s waterside ceremony was set along the bright blue shores of Walloon Lake near Petoskey, Michigan. Shaded from the summer sun, guests enjoyed libations and hors d’oeuvres under the covered patio of Walloon Lake Country Club with the formal dinner taking place in the fabric draped ballroom.
The event design combined modern styling with classic touches. Vibrant colors of tangerine, royal blue, and emerald green seemed to pop off of the white canvas with platinum accents adding a hint of sparkle. The couple’s pug, Jada, also made an appearance adorning the custom stationery and elaborate pillow cake. As the sun set on the evening, guests danced the night away and the illuminated ballroom transformed from soft peach to vibrant amber. In lakeside fashion, the new Mr. and Mrs. bid adieu to their guests on their own privately captained boat.
